Eleven Activity

Activity: Start an Undecennial Diary

Don't be intimidated by the word diary in this activity. Remember that undecennial means every 11 years.

So I'm only suggesting that you write something every 11 years. And you only have to jot down three things each time.

But what you'll have is a road map of your life that will become more precious as you age. Imagine being 88 and getting to read what you thought of your life at 11 or 22!

What You'll Need

• A blank notebook that you'll want to keep the rest of your life

• A pencil*

STEP 1

If you are 11, 22, 33, 44 etc.:

Write down the three most important things that happened to you during each 11-year period.

The entries don't have to be long. Just enough to remind you of the event.

If you are not yet 11:

Select a notebook you will use for your diary and start thinking about what events you might want to include.

If you are between 12 and 21:

Create your entries for your first 11 years. Then move to Step 2 until you turn 22.

STEP 2

Put your diary some place safe. Some place where you'll remember where it is 11 years from now!
